Refund policy

InnoInsure’s Expat Insurance is a customized colectivo product intended to meet Spanish visa, residency, and immigration requirements.

A policy is deemed “used” when
(i) the policy start date has commenced,
(ii) the insurance certificate is presented or provided—formally or preliminarily—to any consulate, embassy, or immigration authority, or (iii) the coverage is used for medical attendance.

The insurance certificate is a document with administrative and legal effect. Once issued, cancellation or refund (of non-effective months) is only permitted if the relevant visa or residency/renewal application is denied, and an official written rejection letter is provided.

Pursuant to regulatory obligations, InnoInsure must notify the BLS Visa Center, the Spanish Consulate, or the Extranjería of any policy modification or cancellation without further notice to the policyholder. InnoInsure assumes no liability for any impact such notification may have on the policyholder’s application.

Fees charged by third parties and losses due to exchange rate fluctuations are not refundable.
